It covers ecommerce, vendor listings, job postings, home services, astrology consultations, motor listings, and bill payments — all under the best fintech service possible. That breadth means questions come from different directions. The answers below cover what users ask most.
PAYMENTS
What payment methods does Gairik accept?
UPI, net banking, debit and credit cards, and digital wallets are all supported at checkout. For certain service bookings, cash payment at the time of service is also available — the listing will state this where it applies.
Is it safe to save my payment details on the platform?
Card and UPI details are handled through our payment gateway partners, not stored on Gairik’s servers directly. If you have concerns about a specific transaction, write to contactus@gairik.store.
ORDERS AND SERVICES
How do I book a service?
Go to the Services section, pick a provider, and select an available slot. Confirmation goes to your registered email and phone. In the time of rescheduling, you always have to do it at least 24 hours before the appointment, and the listing will show the provider’s specific cancellation window. It is important to remember that we impose a penalty on anyone who tries to refund any purchased service within the last 24-hour period. Any compensation-related parts of the penalty will always be under the vigilance of our hierarchy, only if we believe it is necessary.
Are the “products and materials used” by our service providers safe to use?
Vendors and service providers listed on Gairik are required to disclose the materials they use during onboarding. If a specific job uses chemical treatments or specialist equipment, that information appears in the listing. In case these are not followed, ask the provider directly with our help before any kind of confirmation, refund, or review, etc., for the benefit of all parties concerned.
TRANSACTION TYPES
What kinds of transactions does Gairik support?
The platform takes everyone through different, all well-known fields of valid, safe, and transparent transactions, including “B2B (business to business), B2C (business to consumer), C2C (consumer to consumer peer sales), and C2B (consumers offering products or skills to businesses)”. Which applies to you depends on whether you are registered as a buyer, vendor, or service provider.
ACCOUNT AND LISTINGS
How do I become a vendor or list a service?
Register at gairik.store/register and select the vendor option. You will go through an identity verification step before your listing goes live. The full requirements are in the Vendor Onboarding Policy.
I posted a job listing. How do applicants reach me?
Applications come through the platform’s jobs dashboard. You will get a notification when someone applies, and their details are visible under the listing. Gairik will never share the recruiter’s contact details (unless asked by the recruiter), including Email ID, Number, LinkedIn profile, etc., with applicants automatically in any sort or form.
