The Rise
Most online marketplaces ask sellers to fit into a system that was built for the platform's convenience, not theirs. Gairik was built the other way around. We are a fintech-backed multi-vendor shop headquartered in Kolkata, covering ecommerce, property, motors, jobs, professional services, astrology consultations, and financial products — all on one platform, all under verified conditions.
The platform exists because Indian buyers and sellers deserved better terms than what most digital marketplaces were offering. That is still the operating principle.

The platform is built around four transaction models because the way commerce actually works does not fit neatly into one:
